Studio+ Continues Expansion, Adds 16 Employees

Fort Myers-based Integrated Services Firm Expands Locally and in Tampa and California Locations.                      

Studio+, an integrated services firm, has hired sixteen additional employees to support their continued growth and expanded services. They now have 65 employees via their four locations in Fort Myers, Sarasota and Tampa, Fla. and Newport Beach, Calif.

FORT MYERS, FL HIRES

Hired on as Marketing Manager, Tanya Bentz brings marketing experience from companies such as Gartner and PRG Real Estate. As the Marketing Manager at Studio+, Bentz’s primary responsibilities include assisting with the overall marketing and communication strategies, ensuring consistency in the Studio+ brand, and assisting with creative content for print ads, social media marketing, event planning and website content. Bentz has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Temple University.

Marlene Tenorio and Abby Combs have joined Studio+ as Business Operations Coordinators. Tenorio received her Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Florida Gulf Coast University and will be assisting in Business Operations on the Studio+ side. Combs will bring her management experience and education from Lansing Community College to facilitate the Studio+ Surfaces side of the business.

Josue Jimenez has been hired as Project Manager in the Fort Myers office for Studio+ Surfaces. Joe Dykes has also been hired as a Project Superintendent in the Fort Myers office on the Studio+ Surfaces team.

Hired as Architectural Designers, Logan Tackmann, Chandler Hilton, and Nancy De La Vega will produce documents, drawings, and deliverables for healthcare providers, senior living developers, educators and commercial corporations. Tackmann recently received Bachelor of Science degrees in Facility Management and Architecture and Sustainability from Ferris State University. Hilton recently received her Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. De La Vega received her Master of Architecture from Florida International University.

Fernando Zabala has been hired as a Senior Project Manager for the Fort Myers office. Zabala brings over 24 years of experience as a licensed architect in Argentina and the U.S. He also has experience in sustainable design and is pursuing his green associate credentials.

SARASOTA, FL HIRES

Establishing the Studio+ Surfaces office in Sarasota, General Manager, Seth Koplin brings years of experience. Having graduated from Transylvania University and with work experience from Richard’s Abbey Carpet and Wholesale Tile Supply, Koplin will direct and coordinate project teams, client management, and exceed compliance standards.

TAMPA, FL HIRES

In the Tampa office, Lauren Mosher has been brought on as an Architectural Intern. Mosher is currently enrolled in the Master of Architecture program at the University of South Florida and will help the team with all phases of design development and will create documents for submittal throughout the process.

On the surfaces team in Tampa, Annette Burnsed joins the company as a Project Manager. She brings 27 years of experience in the flooring industry. Burnsed received her degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison in Financial Accounting & Consumer Finance. Keith Schutter has also been hired in the Tampa office as a Senior Project Coordinator. He brings 30 years of work experience from field coordination, to design and assembly of construction documents. Schutter has a degree in Architectural Engineering Technology from Luzerne County Community College. Mark Marsh has been hired as a Project Superintendent for the Tampa office.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA HIRES

Joining the Studio+ team as Principal, Marty Fifer is based in the Newport Beach office. Fifer has more than 24-years of architectural experience, including 11-years of operating his own firm. At Studio+, he will champion healthcare, education, and lab projects. Fifer is also Lean Six-Sigma certified and uses this knowledge with his healthcare and business expertise.

Hired as an Architectural Designer, Tanmay Sabharwal will be based out of the Newport Beach office. Sabharwal recently completed his Master of Architecture from Savannah College of Art and Design.
