Studio+, an integrated services design firm, has completed the architecture and interior design at the 32-acre resort-style retirement community, Amavida Senior Living in Fort Myers.
“Amavida was designed with the retiree of the future in mind,” says Nathalie White, Project Manager. “Modern on-site amenities, a connection to nature through design, and advanced technology features are what make Amavida stand out from the rest. It has been such a pleasure working with Quadrum development and all the consultants on this incredible project.”
Architectural details, materials, and colors provide continuity from one phase of the community to the other, which includes independent living, assisted living and memory care. The goal was to promote a feeling that the entire community is home, not just one area. Surrounded by natural Florida flora and fauna, each of the 460 units was designed to provide a unique view.
The community provides a deep connection to nature, and as a result, intends to improve residents’ quality of life and mental health. Lifestyle amenities include athletic facilities, cabanas, a clubhouse, pedestrian access to Lakes Park, multiple dining options, and more.
