Patty Rice-Spivey, VP at Studio+, Announces Retirement
We would like to congratulate Patricia (Patty) Rice-Spivey, Vice President at Studio+, on her recent retirement. She has been a true pleasure to have in our office over the last 5 years which has made her retirement especially bittersweet for Studio+ and the team will miss her dearly.
“We can’t thank Patty enough for her leadership, service, and dedication to the firm,” says Damon Romanello. “She leaves Studio+ having enriched the lives of our team, clients, and community.”
Her positivity, knowledge, and willingness to help, as well as her commitment, conscientiousness, and assiduous efforts is how she stood out. Patty has made an indelible impact on every project she’s been a part of and has served as the “go-to” person for clients and the Studio+ team.
Patty began her career in corporate marketing with a degree in psychology, later incorporating that background into an architectural career, with a passion to design spaces that positively affect the way people feel.
Her career consists of an extensive portfolio of experience including all aspects of healthcare design. She has managed projects ranging from equipment renovations to $65 million hospital expansions.
Her favorite part of her architectural career has been finding the design solution that fits the client’s needs, knowing the end result is exactly what they had envisioned.
Upon her retirement, Patty plans to travel to as many places as she can while using her camera to capture the fine details of buildings from an architect’s eye. Patty also looks forward to spending quality time in Sweden with her 2-year-old granddaughter (and her new baby sister arriving in June).
We wish Patty all the best as she starts a new chapter in her life!
