Altar’d State – Vow’d Broadway

This tenant build-out refreshes an existing mercantile space within a duplex building while preserving key elements of the original architecture.

Along Broadway, new anodized black aluminum storefront systems were inserted into existing openings, paired with illuminated “VOW’D” signage, backlit aluminum hearts, pink canvas awnings, and a custom painted heart mural that strengthens street presence.

Inside, the 3,843 SF space is organized into clear boutique, fitting room, corridor, and back-of-house zones. Curtain-framed fitting rooms and a central “Say YES” moment—defined by a suspended gypsum cloud and pink watercolor plaster wall—create distinct visual moments within the open sales floor. Polished concrete floors run throughout the boutique, with terrazzo tile in service areas, and all walls are finished in Greek Villa to provide a consistent, neutral backdrop.
