Amavida is a resort style community that aims to address the growing demand for senior living solutions in a unique way by disrupting commonly held beliefs about senior living facilities. The lifestyle that Amavida encourages through its vast on-site amenities, luxury resort atmosphere, and multitude of recreational activities has resulted in a fundamental shift in senior living. The 32-acre community includes 460 units divided among independent living, assisted living and memory care making it one of the largest 55-plus rental communities in the region. Amavida residents have access to a diverse selection of dining and shopping options in the surrounding area. The campus sits adjacent to a large regional community park and is only a short drive to local beaches.

Amavida was thoughtfully designed to meet residents’ needs at various stages of transitional care, while promoting independence, comfort, and security. The community a Limited Nursing Services (LNS) licensed community which allows the staff to provide a higher level of care and support than a typical assisted living community. Apartment style units are available within the main building and are organized into separate wings for Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. The Cottages are freestanding duplex units arranged on the western perimeter of the campus which place emphasis on an independent lifestyle, encouraging travel around the community by golf cart. A bright, airy color palette and natural finishes were selected throughout to create a contemporary home environment and evoke a sense of hospitality. Additionally, each of the units were designed to provide a view of the outdoors and encourage a deep connection with nature to improve mental health and well-being.

Amavida features multiple styles of buildings spread throughout its expansive campus, yet its variety of common areas and engaging amenities create a strong sense of community. State-of-the-art amenities are available to residents and include two large pools, bocce, tennis and pickleball courts, salons, a library, three movie theaters, fitness centers and multiple bars and restaurants. Resident are encouraged to live an active, vibrant lifestyle that nurtures their mind, body, and spirit and embrace the Amavida motto “love of life”.
