Lee Health Gateway Training Center

This project involved the renovation of the first floor of a two-story building to centralize Lee Health’s staff development and training programs.

The first floor was redesigned to include various training spaces, such as onboarding classrooms for new employees, technology education classrooms for computer applications and equipment training, clinical learning classrooms with a simulation lab for medical workflow education, and leadership classrooms focused on developing management and motivational skills.

The second floor was dedicated to Information Technology operations, housing teams responsible for software systems, servers, networks, and physical computer maintenance. This brought together previously separate IT functions into a single location, fostering better coordination and communication among these teams.

By consolidating staff development, training, and IT functions into one building, the renovation improved operational efficiency and collaboration. The new space enhanced the effectiveness of Lee Health’s training programs and supported the organization’s overall mission to improve employee performance and healthcare delivery.
