Library Administrative Suite

Lee County Library Administrative Office

Revitalizing historical space: Lee County Library’s modern administrative hub in Fort Myers.

This project involved the tenant improvement of the 4th floor of the Lee County Administration East building to accommodate the administrative offices of the Lee County Library System.

As the space is within an older building in historic downtown Fort Myers, the library admin required a replacement of all mechanical systems, a reimagined lobby entrance, and the redesign of cubicles to provide a more open and spacious feel. The design team has considered all “awkward” spaces within the unit to ensure ample storage for the large book depositories.

To maintain brand consistency, the color scheme throughout the space, including the walls and carpeting, has been inspired by the Lee County branding and logo. The project also includes six meeting and conference rooms within the entire office area to facilitate effective communication and collaboration among staff.

The new library administrative space aims to create a modern and functional workspace that reflects the Lee County Library System’s values and enhances productivity among staff.
