Mill District Mixed – Use

Mill District Mixed – Use

A transformative mixed-use redevelopment in the Mill District, envisioned as a dynamic “adventure hub” and slated for completion by Summer 2026.

Mill District Mixed-Use is a transformative redevelopment designed to reconnect the site with Traverse City’s waterfront while creating a vibrant destination for residents and visitors. Anchored by the future waterfront headquarters for Brick Wheels, the development also includes a multi-modal commercial building with bike and paddleboard rentals, a café, brewery, and restaurant experience, all supported by a fully electric, fossil fuel-free infrastructure.

Three residential buildings, integrated green spaces, and thoughtfully planned parking create a connected community environment. A dedicated non-motorized trail with ADA-compliant access links the development to the Boardman Lake Loop Trail, strengthening connections between the waterfront, surrounding neighborhoods, and outdoor recreation opportunities.
