Simms/Mann Family Foundation Playground Renovation

This project included the renovation of the Simms/Mann Family Foundation Playground at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, replacing outdated equipment and surfacing with new play structures, safety surfacing, and integrated shade elements.

Work included selective demolition, new concrete and site features, decorative screens, signage, and accessible pathways to meet current ADA standards. Landscape improvements introduced new planting, irrigation upgrades, and play-focused amenities, while upgraded lighting and power enhanced overall safety and usability.

Delivered within a sensitive, occupied healthcare environment, the project creates a safe, engaging outdoor space that supports patients, families, and staff.
