New 105,000 sf Satellite Community College Campus on the site of former Firestone Tire Plant with classrooms for Science, Technology, Architecture, Administration of Justice with administrative offices and multi-purpose spaces.
Scope includes new gym, futsol courts, CTE classrooms, 32 Instructional spaces, 448 Possible 14 flexible smart classrooms, 5 classrooms/labs for the physical and biological sciences, 4 computer-based classrooms/labs, Specialized CTE instructional spaces for Administration of Justice, Child Development, Art, Architecture, Engineering & lecture hall.
The state-of-the-art “ELAC South Gate Educational Center” will be a new community college campus. The client is the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD). The building is 3 stories 105,000 s.f. The site being developed is approximately 17 Acres. The anticipated construction cost is $92 million. Contractor is Bernards Brothers.
