Studio+ integrated architecture and design services for this renovation plan. It involved converting a labor and delivery recovery suite to a new, freestanding geriatric behavioral health rehab facility and other space conversions.

Integrating Natural Finishes to Enhance Patient Comfort

The behavioral health unit is designed as a place for healing with integrity through meaningful selections of finishes, colors and art work. The design inspiration came from the setting of a wood lodge retreat. Warm wood tones create a sense of warmth and security for patients while also providing a comforting environment that may bring back memories from years past.

Safety Beyond Comparison

Beyond aesthetics, psychiatric safe features were incorporated throughout the unit’s design in patient rooms, the dining area, and group rooms to ensure patient safety.
