NCH Bonita Freestanding Emergency Department and Ambulatory Surgical Center

Creating a new ED to better support the local citizens needs while maintaining the highest level of care.

Designed to Keep Up with the Demands of All Patient Types

The new 41,000 square foot facility is a freestanding emergency department with a fully supported outpatient surgery center with two operating rooms, ambulatory surgical center, six pre and post recovery beds, outpatient imaging reporting services, and outpatient doctors offices for NCH Physician Group. The building was designed to open various departments in phases. This allowed the client to provide services sooner to maximize availability of care while continuing to expand on additional services.

Incorporates the Aesthetic of the Surrounding Community

Our design team works closely with each client to ensure we create a design that effectively delivers care while matching the client’s vision. Studio+ took into consideration the surrounding, existing buildings while incorporating the NCH aesthetic and branding for its freestanding buildings. This building is contemporary and utilizes natural stone veneers, metal accents and paneling, and canopy structures.
